  1. Of all the books on the shelf, I picked yours. Not that my decision should mean anything to you or anyone else. But I have been out of work for ~5 months and with my 40% off coupon I wanted to buy the book that’ll help me the most! I am so very tired of those texts that just build another friggin’ shopping cart — WHO CARES! :)

    I just got home from the bookstore and I’m only on page 10. I am REALLY trying to resist the temptation to just jump into the middle of the book! :)

    I am usually an O’Reilly book buyer when it comes to programming, languages, etc. Some time back I purchased my first “friendsof” book (CSS Mastery:Advanced Web Standards Solutions). Yours is my second, and I am already drifting from the O’Reilly books on the rack. I’ve seen books come and go because I’ve been in this industry since 1989!

    Needless to say, I have tons of books! :)

    Thanks so much! I’ll drop back by as I get deeper into the book and begin to apply your techniques to create the objects/components I need for my multi-faceted web app (a website, blog engine, and SaaS application all in one).
